Il discorso di benvenuto tenuto dal Presidente Clemente PREDA
Dear friends I am pleased to introduce you to a friend Rotarian visiting Italy:
Mr. Jayakumar, Past President of the Rotary Club of Greater Cochin District 3201 in India, and his son. To honor him I tried some information about his club and discovered that the Rotary Club of Greater Cochin is a litter bit older than our, having received the foundation charter in
March 1985 and has, if
my information is
correct, 51 members .
With pleasure, on
behalf of myself and all
the members I
welcome to Mr.
Jayakumar here in
Bergamo and in
particular to our Club.
Mr. Jayakumar will
not stop with us for the
duration of convivial
prior engagements but
already the invitation,
on the occasion of
future trips to
Bergamo, stay with us.
Before giving the floor to Mr Jayakumar I provide some informations about our Club.
Which was founded in 1996 and we are celebrating our twentieth anniversary with 61 members of which 14 women

Cari amici sono lieto di presentarvi un amico Rotariano in visita in Italia: Mr. Jayakumar, Past President del Rotary Club di Greater Cochin Distretto 3201 in India, e suo figlio. Per presentarvelo ho trovato alcune informazioni sul suo club e ha scoperto che il Rotary Club di Greater Cochin è un po’ più vecchio del nostro, dopo aver ricevuto la carta di fondazione marzo 1985 ed ha, se le
mie informazioni sono corrette, 51 membri.
Con piacere, a nome mio e di tutti i membri dò il benvenuto a Mr. Jayakumar qui a Bergamo e, in particolare, al nostro Club.
Mr. Jayakumar non si fermerà con noi per tutta la durata della conviviale a causa dei precedenti impegni, ma ha già l'invito, in occasione
di viaggi futuri a Bergamo, per stare con noi.
Prima di dare la parola a Mr Jayakumar fornisco alcune informazioni sul nostro Club.
Che è stato fondato nel 1996 e noi festeggiamo il nostro ventesimo anniversario con 61 membri, di cui 14 donne
